Wow what a day! The reunion was a fantastic success! The participants ranged from the newcomer to the experienced. The first timer impressions of the reunion from both the human and dog side can be found by clicking on the orange words, along with the Gold, Silver & Bronze Medal names for the Doglympics and Top Dog Awards.
We had Katie from For Paws and Noses doing a seminar about Signs of Stress in your dog and K9 Nose Work. Check out her website for exciting things to do with your dog. Also, Montana, a first year GRRMF attendee gave us his take on the day’s festivities, including the Blessing of the Goldens and the Doglympic Games.
Top Dog Volunteer Awards were handed out to all the wonderful volunteers that donate their time and extra efforts in enabling GRRMF to be successful in our mission; saving, protecting, and rehoming golden retrievers and golden retriever blends that have lost their home and family.
The weather forecast was a bit concerning however the rains started after most of the events were concluded and we were tucked in the pavilion finishing up the day with some cake and our final raffle!
Thank you to all our reunion volunteers who helped with the planning and day of support to make the day a success! Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers, adopters and supporters who came and all the beautiful dogs who enjoyed the days activities selected just for them! We hope you had a wonderful time and look forward to seeing you again next year!
