Our Healing Hearts Dogs
Taking a dog into rescue is more than just finding a new home for the animal. It’s about making sure that each dog is healthy and stable before adopted to ensure that this will indeed be the last home the dog goes into. That sometimes requires months of medical treatment for heartworm or tumors or injured legs. Sometimes it requires months of therapy to work on behavior issues stemming from abuse or neglect. It’s all costly – both financially and emotionally. Our medical team is dedicated to ensuring each dog receives the necessary medical care and our foster families provide the care and emotional support to ensure the best outcome.
Our Healing Hearts page features some of the dogs in our care with more than their share of health challenges or special circumstances. We provide the help, love and attention that they need. Your financial partnership in their care helps us to achieve this goal. We cannot be successful without your generosity.
Please read about some of the goldens in our care and open your heart to furthering our mission with your donations.
