She’s looking for a quiet home with another calm dog who will act as a mentor.  A fenced-in backyard where she can play would be awesome. Her new parents will need to be patient and continue her training. She’s made so much progress already; all she needs now is time and love. Watch her run and romp around her backyard.

Honey is a gorgeous cream-colored golden, who needs a new start through no fault of her own.  We are not sure of the life she led before she came to us, but she may have had very little joy or happiness.  Honey deserves a new beginning.Tan dog walking on green lawn. Honey is well named. She has a sweet, gentle, and shy disposition. She’s looking for a family that has the time to give her the love and training she needs to have an amazing life. Honey does have many fears, however, with patience and proper force free training we are confident she can overcome her past. While in foster care she is working with one of GRRMF’s behavior specialist and is slowly learning how to trust and love.

Honey has lived with children previously but is uncomfortable around high energy and loud noises.  She is generally shy around other dogs, although being in a tranquil house with a calm dog that could mentor her would be ideal. Honey is always up for car rides and a soft, cozy doggy bed. She is crate trained and finds comfort in her crate or bed as her safe space.

Are you ready to open your heart and your home to this ‘sweet as honey’ gal and give Honey the new beginning that she deserves?

Honey’s adoption cost is $850. Learn about our adoption process here. Please help us defray the intake care cost by donating to the GRRMF Golden Gift Registry. Thank you.
