A special event for our community of people affected and united by cancer. Join us!
The Village is a free community event created for cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, families, and the people who continue showing up through all of it. From 9 AM to 2 PM, the host, Mojo & The Mess are bringing together local resources, organizations, vendors, music, raffles, survival kits, a kids’ area, food, small gifts, and hopefully a whole lot of joy. GRRMF will be there to provide comfort and support from our Rescue and Hearts of Gold community outreach programs.
This is not a walk. It is not a fundraiser where patients are asked to give more. It is a day where people affected by cancer can come as they are, find help they may not have known existed, meet people who understand, bring their families, and actually enjoy themselves. Cancer can make the world feel incredibly small. The Village is the host’s way of making it feel bigger again.
What You’ll Find at The Village
The host is building an entire day around connection, support, and fun. There will be resource tables for patients and caregivers, local vendors, raffles, music, activities, a kids’ area, survival kits for people currently in treatment, and plenty of surprises.
Every organization and business involved is helping to create something our community has never had before. A place where practical support and a genuinely good day can exist together.
