Howie and Blanca visit a variety of settings, from public spots outside and the University of Florida campus to a nursing home and the Ronald MacDonald House. Because of Howie’s size and energy, Blanca believes that he’s currently best suited to a more active, youthful crowd.
One of this team’s most tender moments occurred during a visit to the Ronald MacDonald House when a child wanted to pet Howie but was afraid of being licked. Not to mention the smiles they received and the relaxation they provided for many of the students and staff at the University of Florida during their final exams.
When Howie’s not doing therapy visits, the lanky brindled beauty is happiest playing games of fetch with his mom. For Blanca, going places and exploring is always a “Howie Disneyland Day! Just being with my dog makes our day.”
