Zeus came to GRRMF when his owners could no longer care for him. As a bouncing baby boy, Zeus, now known as Sonny, offered his adopted family a new way to add energy, cuteness and of course love into their family. Now, after watching Sonny grow for a year and a half, mom admits some of those puppy antics are waning but not all. Says mom, “He loves to grab the dish towel off the kitchen counter – he is very sneaky with that. He has learned to adjust his energy level to play gently with our 14- year old Golden Retriever, named Spencer”.
After playing with his rope toy, swimming with all the pool toys is his favorite activity. After swimming, Sonny loves to run in circles (puppy zoomies) numerous times in the back yard. Then once he’s dried off and back inside, he loves to roll around the living room. Sonny travels with his family and loves going on vacation and he has also received a Certificate of Achievement from his obedience training. Way to go Sonny, a true gentleman in the works!
