Percolating with puppylike spirit and spunk, Poppy, previously known as Sunny Mae, promptly became the life of the party in her fur-ever home!
On adoption day, she immediately felt like part of the family. She even started playing “bitey face” with Albi, her 4-year-old golden brother despite wearing a cone and coming off anesthesia from her spay. Her adoring mom’s wild child, Poppy is constantly moving, and she definitely keeps Albi on his toes. And although Wendell the cat keeps turning down his paws at her advances, she never stops trying to endear herself to him.
Happily and highly energetic, having come from two high-energy breeds, she recently underwent surgery to correct an issue that was likely exacerbated by her early spay. But, other than that, she’s one very healthy Poppy. According to her mom, she’s appealingly silly in general, but her silliest traits are her obsession with cat toys (especially catnip mice), and her appreciation of a muscle massage from the pool jets. For Poppy, pure Heaven is standing on the stairs of the pool and “massaging” her leg muscles.
