Sugar Alana’s Success Story

Chloe, previously known as Sugar, so sweet and so social, charmed her family on day one!

Deliriously happy to welcome Chloe into their lives, her mom admits that it truly was love at first sight. Feeling blessed to have been chosen as Chloe’s forever home, she calls her the perfect addition to their team, and that she loves this kind, caring and well behaved puppy to bits.

Chloe, herself, is the epitome of LOVE. She loves her dad who takes her out for her daily walks, looking up at him with “lovey eyes” like a child with a girlish crush! The family has three children, and Chloe’s mom is endlessly amazed at how differently she behaves with them. With the two boys, she turns into a puppy, jumping around, waggling her whole butt and just being a silly girl. She loves playing with them inside, running around with them outside and then snuggling with them on her very large dog bed. They, in turn, have learned about the responsibility of taking care of an animal, treating Chloe as tenderly as they treat their three-year-old sister Emma.

With Emma, she’s not only remarkably respectful and kind, she becomes very calm and peaceful. She slows down or gets out of the way if Emma’s near. The sweet youngster, who loves Chloe, puts hair ties in her hair, and Chloe tolerates everything Emma does as if she’s fully aware that Emma’s also a baby. Emma will even place her hands in her food bowl on occasion and Chloe will simply continue eating.

A true member of the family, she follows everyone around the house, lies down wherever they are, and cuddles on the couch with them during TV time. As much as she loves her ball, Chloe also loves swimming in the pool and accompanying her mom to work. There she has another “family” who loves her to bits and comes over to visit her.

“Oh,” concludes Chloe’s adoring mom, “our kitties love her too! They snuggle all the time.”
