Seamus’s Success Story

Seamus’s Success Story

Seamus, now known as Stammer after the Captain of the Tampa Bay Lightning, has found his home!  His two Golden sisters (ages 9 and 10) tolerated this “kid” at first but now they totally love him.  Says mom Cathy, “Despite Stammer’s youngster energy and attitude, he is a sweetie, who loves attention and give kisses to everyone, even his golden sisters. He reminds us of a 2 year old that is constantly in motion. When he’s quiet I know that I need to find him, as he is often getting into something he shouldn’t”.

Stammer loves to watch hockey on TV, can’t get enough of the pool and loves to play tug of war with his rope.  On the silly side; Stammer sits or stands on the couch and hangs over the back.  Then he starts talking to his family to get their attention.  He also loves to sneak onto the bed and rub his back on the comforter and pillows, totally destroying the bed.

Stammer is Cathy and Bill’s 4th Golden from GRRMF and continues to prove that no two Goldens are alike!   “We love him and know that we are raising a 2 year old or a toddler.  So despite the fact that we are empty nesters, we once again have a “kid” in the house!” says Bill.
