Adopted on January 22, 2025, WallE (formerly known as Rocky) joined Debbie and Jason’s family with his sweet face, loving eyes, and kind spirit. His new name was inspired by the Disney character, and it couldn’t be more fitting. Just like his namesake, WallE is loyal, gentle, a little goofy, and endlessly full of heart.
One of the happiest memories from adoption day was watching him curl up in his new family’s laps after meeting his puppy brother Meeko. His very first toy? A little WallE of his own. Since then, life with this golden boy has been a mix of puppy chaos, laughter, and unconditional love.
At work, WallE joins Debbie, who works with special needschildren. Though he’s supposed to stay on his “place,” he can’tresist creeping closer until he’s lying at the kids’ feet. It’s impossible not to smile at his devotion.
Goofy and tender all at once, WallE makes his family laugh every day—from his awkward “puppy brain in a big dog body” moments, to his hilarious attempts at catching balls (spoiler: he hasn’t quite figured it out yet). His toys bring him endless joy—especially a rubber pineapple that makes him “cry withhappiness” every time he carries it around.
But what truly makes WallE special are the little rituals of love. He won’t eat until he gets his hug, patiently waits for Meeko to get his treat before eating his own, and charms everyone with his kind, gentle nature. Smart and eager to learn, he’s already graduated puppy class and is working toward his Canine Good Citizen certification.
For now, he enjoys playdates at Two Shepherds Dog Bar/Park, meeting new friends, splashing in the water, and soaking up all the attention he can get. Still young and growing, WallE is goofy, loving, and a little mischievous—but above all, he’s proof of just how magical life becomes when you have a golden by your side.
