Molly Sallie’s Success Story

Molly Sallie’s Success Story

What could be sweeter than seniors sharing forever love in the sunshine of their years!

When 11-year-old Molly Sally entered her senior adopters’ lives, the timing was picture perfect. And although she was very shy when they picked her up from her foster mom, she quickly adapted to them by promptly finding her bed and soon after, enjoying her first meal with them, eating her new food with undisguised gusto.

Her parents’ seventh golden (three adopted from GRRMF), she slid smoothly into her role as their newest family member, flourishing and growing under their constant, loving attention and returning it many times over. A source of unending joy for them and clearly grateful for her home and her bed, Molly was especially excited to learn that her parents lived in a gated community with a dog park directly across from them. There was also a wonderful family nearby whose own 11-year-old golden had sadly passed away a week before Molly arrived, who soon loved her as if she were theirs, even taking her for walks every morning and every evening.

Still agile and athletic, Molly keeps her dad on his toes, building up his own stamina each time she accompanies him on one of his shorter walks. A blessing for both her dad and mom, she’s given their lives new meaning, energizing them and adding a quality to their lives they had long been missing.

With an appetite for food as great as her appetite for life and for love, Molly is more than eager to share many more loving years with her parents – as are they.
