Doubling the delight of adoption day for Kayla’s loving family was hosting a small birthday party for her since she turned two that same week!
Simply stunning in her sleek black coat, Kayia, so sweet and so sociable, makes even the simplest things so much more fun. Agile and athletic, she loves playing fetch, “chewing on” her cherished squeaky croissant and going for walks. It may be a toss-up between going to the dog park and going to the pier, but she clearly loves both, just as she loves accompanying her family on car rides.
Keeping her parents in smiles is the sight of Kayla doing a full body wag holding a toy in her mouth to greet them! But what they find particularly touching is how she keeps trying to make friends with the totally disinterested resident cat. As if to compensate for her disappointment, Kayia has already spent an entire enjoyable weekend away at doggy daycare, where she frisked and frolicked about with so many new and equally friendly canines.
Always eager to please her parents, they, in turn, are especially proud that she has learned how to walk well on a leash and not be reactive to other dogs.
