June’s Success Story

June’s Success Story

June, now known as June Bug) adores her new home with Carol and Richard, which is to be expected of a sweet Goldador (golden retriever – labrador retriever mix)! She came to GRRMF from a local shelter and we were happy to find her forever home.

June just loves to be loved and stays close to her humans. When Carol’s working from home, June is right with her as the “office manager.” A spry 10-year old, June likes to be on the move, taking several walks a day. A favorite past time for the whole family is taking rides in the Jeep. June just contentedly takes in the scenery along the way.

Visitors have to keep an eye out when leaving, or June might have hopped in their car for a ride. June gets along well with her new fur brother, a 14-year old shih tzu named “Bo.” The two of them together are quite a pair.

Being an avid outdoor explorer, June had an unfortunate experience with eating berries from a chinaberry tree. She recovered quickly, but wants everyone to know these toxic plants are not for dogs or humans!

June loves when the granddaughters come to visit. She’ll jump into their bed to wake them every morning, ready to play. They love that! The girls like to play ball with June, and that makes June pretty happy, too. This loving pup just wants to please. Carol and Richard were excited to adopt June and said, “She has fit in so well with us.”

Her nickname is “Bug” – as in “June Bug.” Seems Miss June is snug as a bug in a rug with her forever family.
