Jade Marbell’s Success Story

Jade Marbell’s Success Story

Adapting to her new family was easy for Jade and she bonded right away with Dawn and Craig.  Cottonball, one of the felines in the house, approved of the adoption and loves to lick Jade’s face to groom her.  While Jade is not a Velcro dog, “she’s really attached to my wife Dawn and is very protective of our girls, even though they don’t live with us.  She is truly a Ladies’ dog,” says Craig.  When the girls come to visit, there can be up to four cats in the house plus several dogs.  Jade is still learning how to play nice during their stay, but has no issues at doggie day care.

Arriving a bit overweight, Jade now has a girlish waistline from all the tennis ball retrieving and swimming she does with her family.  “She is definitely the retriever extraordinaire,” reports Craig.  “We had to put a fence around the pool to limit her swimming only because it takes her forever to dry!”  Jade has slimmed down but has not lost any weight.  She is all muscle from her constant running.

Jade enjoys outings with her family to the dog beach at Honeymoon Island and is well mannered in the car.  She is a bone chewer and really likes to work the big ones hard.  Jade makes her family laugh when she sporadically romps through the house for no reason at all – just because she can!
