Finn Major’s Success Story

If Finn’s family felt both excited and anxious on adoption day, he promptly put them at ease with his friendly and easygoing ways.

They needn’t have worried about how he would fare with their other golden, Jameson, and their four-year-old daughter and six-year-old son. He not only completed the family dynamic but this happiest of dogs and his golden brother are now inseparable. As opposites, they complement each other so well, and play with one another every hour of every day.

 

Finn has the loudest tail and it wags a lot! The result: when he says “good morning,” his tail bangs off the side of the bed and awakens his parents. He’s also wonderful with their children, and because Jameson favored their mom and her daughter, shrewd Finn automatically became her son’s best friend who endlessly threw tennis balls for him. Now, however, both children share both dogs and Finn takes turns sleeping with each of them. 

 

Finn is fanatical about the family pool, jumping and diving in and out for hours … and hours! He also LOVES going on family walks in the woods, going to the beach and playing with tennis balls and the Wobble ball that Santa brought him. His expressive tail never stops wagging when he plays with the Wobble ball.

 

Some of Finn’s silliest moments are captured for posterity on an Instagram reel on his mom’s cleanfitirishmomma page. Among them are images of both goldens in the pool searching for sunken toys and his “vocals” in the form of moans and groans whenever his shapely butt is scratched.
