Cilla Noni’s Success Story

Cilla Noni’s Success Story

Adopting an older dog can lead to wonderful experiences. Just consider Cilla, who has already become a beloved companion to her adoptive parents.

On her adoption day, Cilla immediately roamed around the yard and house, getting used to her new home and staking out her favorite places. Cilla did initially suffer from severe anxiety after her adoption, but with the love, patience, and attention from her new parents, she soon adjusted well.

Cilla is a happy dog who loves to exercise. She walks 4-5 miles a day, which not only keeps her healthy but her parents as well. One of her favorite routes is to go downtown, where she already knows which businesses give out treats and when. Cilla will actually wait patiently outside until that treat is offered. She is a smart girl! In fact, Cilla already knows the names of her toys and is learning new words every day.

Although Cilla’s favorite activity continues to be walking, she also enjoys socializing with other dogs. She already has a bestie at the house of her parents’ friends. Her parents call it “going to camp,” and of course Cilla knows exactly what that means. Cilla always comes home exhausted after several hours of happy play.

At night, Cilla’s a real cuddler. She enjoys watching TV with her parents until she’s ready to sleep. At that point, she’ll do the dog stare-down until she gets taken to bed, where she gets the rest she needs for the next day of fun and activity. Cilla’s a lucky girl who has found the paw-fect forever home!
