Chloe, formerly Chloe Madeira, came from a family who didn’t have time to care for her to GRRMF. When she first joined her forever family, they adored her immediately. When she got home for the first time, she was nervous to get out of the car. Her patient family, along with a GRRMF helper, convinced her that she was in a safe and wonderful place and to overcome her fears.
Chloe continues to overcome her fears and has many wonderful new adventures with her family. She gets to experience all the seasons at their second property in the mountains of West Virginia with her Westie brother, Oliver. She loves to explore the interesting smells and surroundings. Kathleen and Richard wake up every day with two giant golden paws and a big smile from Chloe as she climbs carefully into their bed. Baby, Chloe’s beloved Lambchop toy, is always replaced quickly when it falls victim to wear and tear- and a giant version was even found for Chloe to squeak and cuddle with.
Her new family says that sweet, calm and gentle Chloe was “worth the wait!”
