Roberta and Paul’s happiest memory of the day they adopted newly named Karlee was meeting her and her foster family. As pleasurable as it was for them, it was equally pleasurable and especially exciting for her.
What this ravishing redhead relishes most is playing ball, playing with her vast assortment of toys and playing with her adopted brother, Winston. Endlessly amusing to her parents, however, is how Karlee digs around in the toy box for several minutes to retrieve the perfect toy. Then, when they took her camping with them, they were delighted at how easily she adapted and how well she did.
As to some of her especially endearing traits: Karlee’s very cuddly and sweet. She’s extremely energetic and doesn’t nap much in case she misses out on something. Paul sheepishly admits that she came to them as a counter surfer and had herself a pizza party while they weren’t looking. “We never expected that one!”
Since Karlee was somewhat dog aggressive when she arrived, one of GRRMF’s highly skilled professional trainers provided her parents with such sound advice that, thankfully, she’s so much better now.
In Roberta’s words, “Karlee is a true joy and an excellent addition to our family.”
