Butler Skylar came to us all the way from Louisiana to find his forever family. This handsome boy is a calm and gentle sweetheart. Butler’s mom Yvonne says that everyone who meets him falls in love with him, and “he’s been the perfect dog for us!” He enjoys going on long walks and sitting outside when it’s breezy. Butler also loves belly rubs and just being with people.
Yvonne’s granddaughter likes to play dress up and dresses Butler in funny glasses and hats. He doesn’t mind; he loves the attention and puts up with her crazy antics. Butler makes his family chuckle every night around 8 pm. He quietly gets up and leaves the room to go to his bed. Obviously, that’s his self-declared bedtime. He’s so silly!!
Butler likes to go anywhere in the car and enjoys family trips to Starbucks – he always eats a cup of whipped cream there!
In the short time he’s been with his new family, Butler has earned his Project Pup certification and joined our Hearts of Gold therapy team. Yvonne summed up the experience of adopting Butler with this statement: “Butler has brought so much joy into our lives.” Sounds like the perfect match!
