Buddy has bounced his way into the hearts of his new forever family. Having too much energy for a family with small children, Buddy was surrendered to GRRMF, but fortunately for Buddy, his new family finds his enthusiasm for life to be just what they wanted.
Buddy’s new life is very full. His favorite pastime is visiting with his canine friends, especially his golden doodle girlfriend, and human friends in the neighborhood, but he also enjoys meeting new people in restaurants and stores. Exploring new places, hiking, jumping in the stream or sleeping by a campfire are all ways Buddy spends his outdoor hours.
When inside he loves to play with his “indestructible” toys; unfortunately, it only takes a few minutes before he is proudly carrying the shredded toy around to show everyone. When it is finally time to rest, he loves nothing better than twisting all 65 pounds into a golden bundle of fur who fits perfectly on mom’s or dad’s lap. If left alone with no lap to sleep on, he finds something that smells like his humans and snuggles with it until they return.
Besides his new family teaching Buddy to “hug” when asked rather than jumping on everyone, Buddy’s formal training consists of graduating from a beginner’s obedience class. As often happens, life gets in the way so Buddy hasn’t had any other formal training but now he is signed up for a class to achieve his good canine certification.
When nighttime rolls around, Buddy settles in at the bottom of the bed, but by morning he has a head on one pillow and his butt on the other. His parents just laugh. Everyday Buddy brings joy and laughter for his new family.
When Buddy gazes into their eyes with the look only goldens can give, his parents know once again GRRMF found the perfect golden for them and they made the right choice to give Buddy his forever home.
