Aptly named Toffee is sweetness paws-onified!
Toffee and Joanna take special delight in visiting libraries twice a month where Toffee enjoys spending time with children of all ages.
Tail gaily wagging in excitement, Toffee is truly happiest seeing the children and then having them read to him while he lies calmly beside them and listens intently. Joanna’s most precious moments are when two-year-olds want to pet Toffee and he instinctively knows to be particularly gentle and calm given how large he is compared with them.
As sweet as his name, Toffee, who loves to eat, loves doggy ice cream best. Ever so sociable, he loves welcoming every guest who comes to the house. Passionate about water, he loves being at the beach and swimming in the lake. Seldom seen without a tennis ball in his mouth, Toffee also loves walking. He and his mom take their first long walk at 5 AM and their second one at sunset.
Because Toffee absolutely adores bunnies, he and Joanna also volunteer for a bunny rescue. As a bunny foster mom, Joanna revels in how warm Toffee is towards them when they arrive, always kissing and licking them gently, kindly and joyfully.
Joanna eagerly admits that she and Toffee love volunteering, are thrilled to be part of our wonderful rescue, and look forward to taking on even more projects in the future.
