Tiny Timmy proves that love comes in all sizes!
The passionate team of Timmy and Rose visit such varied places as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, elementary schools, college campuses, aerospace companies and the local airport. Timmy especially enjoys their weekly visits to Kindred Hospital where the staff always welcomes his help with their most challenging patients. They seem to benefit from the special sparkle he brings them, greatly easing their difficult situations.
Timmy also senses when people are in emotional pain. One college student who was petting him broke down and asked Rose how Timmy knew that he needed some special attention. He had been struggling through his midterms and was working with a counselor, and Timmy’s empathy positively impacted the student’s life that day.
The team’s favorite visit so far was to Buena Vida Estates where tiny Timmy outshone his larger Therapy team doggy “co-workers!” He not only loves big dogs, fitting comfortably into the pack, he truly loved visiting all of the residents and calmly greeting each one with happy little tail wags.
One of Timmy’s most endearing habits is giving everyone “foot massages.” He approaches people who have their legs crossed or those seated in wheelchairs, gently presses his head against their feet and rubs his head back and forth. Lucky mom Rose gets a Timmy “foot massage” every night!
In the future, Rose would love to share Timmy’s tenderness with Melbourne International Airport, Florida Institute of Technology and Eastern FL State University students.
