Sweetie is taking it slowly at her foster home, trying to get the lay of land. She has two other dogs and three cats to watch and observe how things are done. The dogs are trying to engage her in some play but she hasn’t broken out her running shoes yet to fly around the yard with them. The cats got a sniff and walk away, which put them at ease with this new pup in the house.
It appears that sweet, Sweetie is most interested in being with her foster mom. She yearns for human touch, loves to be petted and will nudge you asking for more, more, more! If that doesn’t get you going again, she will hand you her lovely paw and snuggle at your feet until you are ready to pet her once again.
Belly rubs, grooming and hanging around the house with her foster mom are her favorite things. Laying in a flying squirrel position is pretty fun too!
Sweetie is house trained, crate trained, knows sit and wait, is working on down and go to bed. She knows “house” means go to her crate, she goes with a little protest whining but eventually settles in.
Beautiful and loving is what Sweetie is all about. She will do best in a loving home that has time to spend with her and will slowly introduce and include her in new adventures. She can be around other animals but enjoys bonding with her humans the most. If you have a sweet tooth, Sweetie might be your girl!
