Sugar and Chelsea may be a freshly minted team, but they’re well seasoned where it matters most: in empathy, sensitivity and compassion.
While both Chelsea and Sugar particularly love volunteering at the Safety Harbor Library, they also enjoy volunteering at the Clearwater Library. Then there’s their passion for attending an ever-widening assortment of special events.
One of their favorite and most memorable therapy visits to date was during Tampa Mental Health Day. Sugar, who was enviably calm and especially polite, loved making all of the children and adults feel at peace.
When she’s not accompanying her mom on therapy visits, Sugar loves running around the backyard with her various stuffy toys and chasing lizards!
Chelsea cheerfully admits that Sugar, who’s always so sweet and so happy, is always melting the family’s hearts. She loves bringing her stuffy toys to them and she loves playing with her numerous neighborhood friends – both canine and human.
Seldom seen without a fashionable scarf around her neck, Sugar delights in going from cubicle to cubicle at Largo City events, then circling back to re-visit her “favorites.”
As for this team’s golden future: attending many more events, paw-lease!
