Sweet, sociable Scooter thrives on giving and receiving LOVE!

Adopted from GRRMF and a firm believer in paying it forward, sweet and sociable Scooter is thriving as a Hearts of Gold Therapy dog.

Together with his mom Steph, this dynamic duo has been paying visits to a nearby Assisted Living facility. Scooter loves the attention he receives from everyone and soaks up all of the love and pets the residents have for him like a thirsty doggy sponge.

One of their favorite visits was so satisfying for Scooter, who loved it, that he didn’t want to leave when it was time to go. And the residents, who so loved spoiling him with their loving pets, didn’t want him to go either.

Surprisingly, for this gregarious golden, when he’s not working, he’s indulging in his favorite pastime: sleeping!

When asked what silly antics of Scooter’s are especially endearing, Steph said that he can be very stubborn when he doesn’t want to do something. He will lie down and refuse to get up or roll over if she tries to pick him up.

With an eye on their future, Steph and Scooter both look forward to one filled with as many events as paws-ible.
