River is a sweet and playful puppy who loves being around people and other dogs and is completely oblivious to the large mass on her head. Here she is chewing on one of her many toys.

Incredibly sweet and loving, she has that puppy vim and vigor that makes her foster parents smile. Whether she’s playing in the backyard chasing squirrels and bunnies, or wondering why the lizards won’t play with her, River is always wagging her tail with delight.

But River does have a serious medical condition. She has seen several of our partner vets, had the mass drained, only to refill again. Currently, the cause of this tumor is unknown. River will soon be seen by the specialists at UF Veterinary Hospital.
