Rio is a handsome, golden retriever puppy, whose life is just beginning! At five months old, everything is new and exciting for him. He is a pure sweetheart and just wants to play. He craves attention—so bring on the belly rubs! Rio is a bit of a Velcro dog and likes to be near his humans at all times. He loves car rides and watching his beautiful, new world go by!
This gorgeous puppy adores people and has never met a stranger. Rio gets along great with children but has not lived with any yet. Rio enjoys being around other dogs and is obsessed with the cats at his foster family’s house!
Rio is crate trained and is usually a good boy outside the crate. This adorable puppy really enjoys playing with his toys and socks, too, so keep them on your feet! He loves going for walks on a leash with his human in the neighborhood, and since he gets excited to get where he wants to go, he tends to pull on his leash. Since he’s still a puppy, he will need a family that will continue his force-free training, so he’ll learn proper doggy etiquette. Rio is smart and has already mastered some basic commands like ‘sit’ and is learning ‘lay down’, but this smart boy is eager to learn more!
