They say love makes the world go round. And love, with a little bit of patience, is all Riley is looking for in his forever family.Riley, who is almost seven years old, recently joined GRRMF due to his previous family’s medical issues.
His foster mom says he’s just the sweetest and very loving. When asked what one word describes him, she said— chill. “Riley is one chill dog. He loves to hang with people and can be frequently found carrying around his toy bear.”
Like anyone found in a new environment though, Riley can get a little nervous. But once he’s comfortable he fits right in. He adores treats, tagging along with his humans and going on walks. His foster mom suspects he’ll also be on his best behavior with children.
One thing he’s not such a big fan of—loud noises. So, you will have to meet him in the middle. Something as simple as a weighted blanket has done the trick to calm him down.
Riley knows some basic commands, and really hasn’t had to use a crate. He does just fine inside the house and with his four-legged foster siblings.
So, if you have a little extra love to give, Riley is worth your while. Just look at him– precious and waiting just for you to bring him home.
