Rennie earns raves everywhere he goes!
The friendly golden and his parents, a seasoned therapy team, enjoy their monthly visits to Orlando libraries, reveling in the kids’ reaction to Rennie’s soft fur. Not to mention how much he likes lying down and having them read to him. They also visit “Give Kids the World,” where critically ill children come for week long Disney “wish” vacations.
Their favorite visit, however, was Rennie’s first to the AdventHealth Kissimmee Hospital. 
Watching everyone’s faces – staff and patients alike — light up with excitement when they met Rennie, and seeing the joy he brought them filled his parents’ hearts to overflowing. They both had parents in hospice and remembered how much they had enjoyed visits from dog therapy groups.
Home time for Rennie means happy times for his parents. He has the rare ability to light up an entire room with his radiantly handsome smile. Of the many commands he knows, his particular favorite is “shake.” Agile and athletic, he loves chasing a laser light and his blue squeaky ball. But best of all, he melts their hearts with the emotional exuberance of his “welcome home greetings” whenever they’ve been gone awhile.
The moment he hears the garage door open, he starts to bark. Then he begins crying in excitement as he runs and brings them the closest toy or shoe he can find, dancing around and crying while they talk to him and pet him.
As for the future? Jennifer sees a rosy one for their remarkable Rennie as they play an even more active role as an integral part of the Hearts of Gold Therapy Team!
