If you’re looking for a dog who will make you laugh every day, Piper is your girl! This beautiful golden retriever is equal parts athlete, comedian, and loyal companion. With her soulful amber eyes, playful personality, and joyful spirit, she has a way of making everyone she meets smile.
Piper is incredibly smart and already knows an impressive list of commands including sit, wait, down, shake, touch, and, “Piper, come.” She will even patiently wait at an open door until you give her permission to go through. She loves learning, aims to please, and is always ready to show off her skills.
She loves spending time outdoors and enjoys long walks, playing fetch, carrying toys around the house, and figuring out puzzle toys and stuffed Kongs. She is wonderful on a leash and is the perfect passenger on car rides, quietly relaxing until it’s time for the next adventure.
Around the house, Piper enjoys being close to her people without needing to be in your lap all the time. She is happy to lounge in one of her dog beds or stretch out on the cool floor after a fun day. Belly rubs are always welcome!
Piper absolutely loves people and is happiest when she’s part of the family’s daily activities. Because she is a big, enthusiastic girl who is very food motivated, she would do best in a home with older children who understand good kitchen manners and can continue reinforcing her training.
One of Piper’s greatest qualities is her love of treats, which makes training both fun and rewarding. She is eager to learn, enjoys having a job to do, and will thrive with a family that keeps her mind engaged through training, games, and enrichment activities.
