Hi, I’m Pearl—and I’ve been told I’m a pretty special kind of gem.
I’m a golden-hearted girl with a curious spirit and a friendly personality that makes me a joy to be around. The world feels full of wonder to me, and I’m happiest exploring it one sniff at a time. Whether we’re heading out on an adventure or just taking in the sunshine and fresh air, I bring a bright, contagious enthusiasm to everything I do, and I’d love nothing more than to be by your side for it.
I walk nicely on my leash and enjoy shorter strolls where I can soak up all the sights and smells. If I see another dog, I might get a little excited and give a happy tug, but it’s just my way of saying, “Hey, let’s be friends!”. I’m friendly with most people too, though sometimes I like to take things in before saying hello. If you offer a little reassurance and maybe a treat, I’ll settle in quickly and look to you for guidance. It means a lot to me to know you’ve got my back.
Adventure? I’m all in. Car rides, trips to the lake or beach, hopping on a boat, and exploring new places, I’m ready for it all. If you’re someone who enjoys getting out and about, I think we’d make the perfect team.
I still have plenty of puppy energy, but I’m a smart girl who loves to learn especially when snacks and praise are involved. I already know sit and I’m working on leave it and stay. Training with me isn’t just productive, it’s actually a lot of fun.
Fetch might not be my thing but bring out a rope toy and you’ll see my playful side come to life. I will chase my pink squeaky ball, but don’t wait for me to bring it back to you. I love a good game and know how to enjoy the moment.
I like being near my people, but I’m not the clingy type. I’ll check in for a quick pet, then happily relax nearby, watching the world go by. With one ear up and the other folded down, you won’t be able to resist my cute face! Every now and then, I’ll gently place my paws on you just to say hi or see what you’re up to. Mornings are my favorite. I’ll greet you with my paws on the bedside, ready to start our day together.
I know I might need a little understanding sometimes, but I promise, I’m worth it. I can be a bit timid around new things like boxes and I may bark to alert you about the shadows I see at night. But with my playful spirit, affectionate heart, and passion for adventure, I’m ready to bring joy, companionship, and love into my forever home.
