Missy is a gorgeous golden retriever, who is looking for a forever family that will give her lots of love and attention. This pretty gal likes to nuzzle you as if she is asking, “Pet me.” Physical touch is clearly her love language! In addition, she’s super cute when she holds her foster’s hand and puts her head in her lap! Hope you have a lot of toys because Missy is very playful and always ready for some fun. Balls are a big hit with her. One of her favorite inside activities is taking all the chew toys out of the basket. She doesn’t clean up after herself though, sorry.
Outside she finds squirrels interesting and will sit calmly just watching them scamper about. She also enjoys a good walk and is excellent on a leash. From what we have observed so far, she has never met a stranger and accepts new people easily. She thinks everyone is her friend. Missy is currently living with another dog at her foster home and they are getting along great. She had lived with cats for a short time and she just lets them do their own thing.
Missy knows some commands like sit, paw, lay down and come and is crate trained, but doesn’t need it. She also has a lot of fun on car rides, just chillin’ with her family.
A true Velcro dog, Missy prefers to know where her humans are and likes to be in close proximity to them so she would do best in a home where her family is home most of the day. Missy is waiting to meet her new family, could that be you?
