Sweet, cuddly Lola was found by a Good Samaritan and put in the loving hands of GRRMF. This poor girl is suffering from some severe skin issues and anemia, but thanks to the rescue and our wonderful veterinary partners, she’s now receiving the treatment and attention she deserves. Lola is on medication for both conditions and also gets regular medicated baths to heal her skin. She’s on the mend but she’ll need lots of love and care as we help her get back to full health!
Lola’s first night in her new foster home went well. She was a bit anxious but she soon relaxed with the help of a calming medication. Since then, she has eased right in and had no problem sharing the house with the other dogs and cats. She enjoys playing with her toys, and of course she loves to eat!
Lola absolutely loves to cuddle with you on the couch and on the bed. She’s a Velcro dog at heart and likes to be in the same room with you. Her foster family reports that she’s very responsive and is a playful dog who seems quite puppy-like for her age.
This lovable girl has already learned some commands. She knows “come”, “sit”, “down”, and “off”, and she will even offer her paw for “shake” or give you kisses. Lola is mostly housebroken, though she has had a couple of accidents if not let outside every few hours during the day. She’s crate-trained and goes into a crate quite happily.
Lola is a charming beauty who can’t wait to find a forever home where she can get all the cuddles and belly rubs she wants! She needs a bit of time to heal, but she hasn’t let that slow her down. Her puppy-like spirit shines through!
