Kylo was surrendered to GRRMF when his previous owners discovered they were allergic to dogs. His first day in rescue was eventful as he had to visit one of our veterinary partners to be neutered. He arrived in his new foster home wearing a cone to keep him from licking his sutures, and he can’t wait to get rid of the cone so he can run and play with his foster siblings!

Kylo met all three of the other dogs in the house and settled right in. He didn’t bark at all the whole time they were all getting acquainted. Within only a few minutes of getting to know each other, they were all exploring the backyard together.

As a young dog, Kylo enjoys going for walks and getting exercise. He pulls a bit like a puppy on the leash but settles in and does well once you start walking. He likes to watch the squirrels and birds, but since he’s wearing the cone he hasn’t had the chance yet to chase any of them. He has noticed the cats in his foster home but for now he’s more interested in checking out their food than chasing them.

This sweet boy loves belly rubs! Cuddling is one of his favorite activities. He is a Velcro dog and prefers to stay close to you. Kylo is also one very smart dog! When he wants to go out he paws the door once then sits by the door until someone comes to let him out. When his foster family tells him it’s time for bed, he goes right into his crate and curls up for the night. He already knows several commands, and his foster family is working with him to teach him to hold a sit-stay for a bit longer.

Kylo may look full-grown but deep down he’s still a wiggly puppy! He’s a big happy dog who is searching for a forever family to give him tons of cuddles!
