This pretty young lady can’t wait to meet the new family who will help her reach her full potential. Ivy is the sweetest girl who loves to be in close proximity to her foster family. Her foster mom says Ivy has become her constant shadow. She gets a little too excited with children and would do best in a home with older children and adults.
Ivy is a bit skinny, but with regular feedings and some yummy treats, she is starting to add a few pounds on her way to a healthy weight. While she has discovered how delicious food can be, she is still learning that surfing for it on the counter is not where she should go for snacks. Grab an extra handful of treats to keep this food-motivated girl distracted while you brush her.
Ivy is a good car rider but hold on tight when you let her out. She is stronger than she looks and will give a strong tug on her leash. She is learning to take walks with a harness and after some practice, her skills are already improving. It won’t be long before she perfects her leash walking skills and is ready to stroll around the neighborhood.
Ivy sleeps in her crate, and she is almost fully house trained. She understands ‘potty’ and goes out for frequent breaks during the day. She is easily startled by sudden loud noises, but you can make her feel better with some snuggles on the couch.
Ivy has so much love to give and hopes you want to be her forever family!
