Simply saying Harley is smart doesn’t quite cover it. Harley is super smart and very eager to learn. Working with a trainer, he’s discovering proper outlets for his exuberance and energy. He’s getting better with sharing and listening to commands – especially ‘leave it.’
Yes, we know your heart is melting right now. Harley is a beauty, but he’s also an energetic puppy who needs a family with the time and patience to teach him how to be a well behaved and spectacular golden.
Harley loves to play. Whether it’s running around the backyard chasing squirrels or lizards, chewing on sticks and toys or playing keep away from the waves at the beach, Harley is full of vim and vigor.
“He’s a smart boy,” his foster dad says, “and like most young ones, he gets bored fast and finds his own entertainment.” Harley doesn’t like to be told what to do and can be stubborn – he’s a puppy in need of training. His foster dad is working with him and is proud of how far he’s come in the short time they’ve been together.
Harley is housebroken, knows a few commands and does well in a crate. He enjoys going on walks and riding in the car.
This rambunctious boy would be best suited in a home with no small children or other dogs. He needs a family who will love him enough to continue his training so he can blossom into a wonderfully, loving golden.
