At just 10 months old, Finnegan is the definition of joyful puppy chaos wrapped up in a lovable package. Life is one big adventure for this curious boy, and he approaches every day with wide-eyed excitement and boundless energy. Finnegan is currently living in a foster home with another dog and children in their early teens, and he’s thriving with both his human and furry family members. He enjoys being part of the action and is happiest when he has someone nearby to play with or follow around the house.
Finnegan is still figuring out how to manage his puppy enthusiasm. Walks are full of exciting distractions, and he loves stopping to watch birds, squirrels, and other dogs pass by. Lizards, however, are a completely different story. In Finnegan’s mind, they exist purely for him to track and hunt.
One of Finnegan’s sweetest quirks is his absolute love for toys. When he gets a new one, he proudly carries it around while whining with excitement before finally settling in to enjoy it. It’s impossible not to smile watching how genuinely happy the simplest things make him.
Behind all this puppy energy is a smart boy who is eager to learn. Finnegan is house trained and sleeps comfortably in his crate at night or for nap time. He already knows commands like sit, recognizes his name, and even rings a bell when he needs to go outside. He’s currently learning how to trade and while it’s still a work in progress, a yummy treat makes training both fun and rewarding.
His foster family has also learned that baby gates are no match for Finnegan. With the grace and confidence of an Olympic high jumper, he clears them with ease when he decides he would rather be part of the fun happening on the other side.
Finnegan would thrive with an active family ready to continue his training, provide plenty of playtime, and embrace all the goofy and lovable moments. He has the kind of joyful spirit that fills a home with laughter, energy, and affection.
