Bentley is a handsome golden retriever, who has mastered the art of sweetness. He loves to flash his beautiful golden smile! He is a big, but gentle pooch who craves attention, so get ready to bring on the belly rubs! He is ready for his new family to give him the time he deserves be loved and happy.
Bentley wants to be near his humans and other dogs. He accepts people easily and has never met a stranger. He will even watch TV with you, as long as he gets the best seat in the house—on your lap! Bentley will let you know when he wants to be petted by gently laying his head on your lap. He gets along well with children, having lived with one his whole life, but older kids might be better, given his size. Bentley also loves to play with dogs, but we aren’t sure about cats. He should fit in nicely with the pack!
Bentley is house trained and doesn’t need to be crated. Bentley enjoys his toys and playing fetch with a tennis ball. He is still getting the hang of walking on a leash, so some force-free training to not pull as much would be perfect. He is not fond of thunder, so some extra love, turning up the TV or playing music during a thunderstorm would be ideal.
