If you are already on our approved adopter waiting list, an adoption coordinator will contact you if you are matched to meet this pup’s needs.
Benji was a bit timid when he arrived to his foster home, however, once he met his foster brother, they rumbled and tumbled around the back yard and Benji’s self-confidence blossomed. Now this sweet boy loves to romp all over the yard and explore every nook and cranny. Benji delights in flushing birds from the bushes and lizards from behind the flower pots. Being a playful pup, he loves soft toys and chew bones. Benji’s not much of a tennis ball fan yet, but he will fetch soft toys.
Although only one year old, Benji is a well-behaved pup and knows the commands “sit” and “down”. He gets excited when going for a walk and is learning leash manners. He is an excellent car rider, opting most of the time to take a snooze during the trip. Benji is very comfortable being in his crate at night and while home alone. Like a true Golden, he will welcome you home with full body wiggles and lots of kisses.
Benji is quite a cuddle bug and likes to follow his humans. You are sure to find him curled up on the couch right next to you, or at your feet in the kitchen or bathroom, wherever you might be. We understand he was good with children, but we haven’t observed him around cats.
This playful, affectionate pup is waiting for a loving family to provide a forever home for many years to come.
