Benito (Benny) is a handsome, golden retriever puppy, whose life is just beginning. At six months old, everything is new and exciting for him. He is a pure sweetheart, that loves to play. He craves attention—so bring on the belly rubs! Benny is a bit of a Velcro dog and likes to be near his humans at all times. In addition, he enjoys car rides and watching the world go by!
He has never met a stranger and gets excited when he meets new people. Like a typical puppy, he needs more good doggy manners training. Benny gets along great with children and lived with one previously. This boy adores people, other dogs, and even cats! At his foster home, he is currently living with three cats, and they are already the best of friends.
Benito is crate trained and is usually a good boy outside the crate. He enjoys swimming in the pool and playing with his chew toys. He may need a bit more force-free training to walk on a leash with his human in the neighborhood, but he is getting better every day. He is very curious about squirrels and would love to play with them, too! Benito is learning some basic commands. He’s smart and ready to please.
Benny will bring a lot of joy and make some family very happy. Are you ready to snuggle up with this sweet lover boy, and give him the attention that he craves?
Benito’s adoption fee is $850, which helps to defray the average $2,000 expense per dog in our rescue. Click here to learn about the adoption process.
