Meet Asher, a 5 year old golden boy looking for his forever family! He carries all the great traits of a typical golden and is looking to enjoy his life alongside 2 legged companions. Just watch this cute video of him playing.
Being 5, Asher has learned a lot along the way. He is house trained and knows a few tricks even! He is so polite that he only does his business while on a leash. His foster parents describe him as a gentle giant, he has no clue of his size which makes him a little clumsy, which of course is so cute!
Asher loves to be outside, whether it’s on walks with humans or to go play fetch and sniff around. He does amazing on his leash, and good thing because he would take the opportunity to chase some squirrels if it presented itself. Best of all, he’s really been enjoying his foster parents pool! He is still getting the hang of swimming, but he can’t get enough of the giant blue bowl in the backyard.
When inside, Asher loves to be groomed, it actually calms him down. Anywhere you go in the house, he is happy to follow along, but he also will go take a nap by himself from time to time. If roaming the house, he loves to have a toy in his mouth with him like a pacifier. Especially his duck toy!
Just looking at these pictures will make you want to meet this honey golden boy in person, especially. His sweet and goofy personality truly does shine through all of the photos. Asher has so much love to give to his future foster family!
While his foster family doesn’t have pets, he has interacted very well with other dogs and likes to play with cats. He would be great in a home with other pets!
