This perfect gentleman loves everyone he meets and is wonderful with children of all ages. He’s currently living in a home with another golden and they get along like lifelong best friends. Apollo has also been around a cat and is completely indifferent, making him a great candidate for a home with feline family members.
Apollo is laid-back and happy to relax by your side, but he’s always ready for fun when the opportunity arises. He enjoys playing with all kinds of toys, loves a good belly rub, and is content to hang out by the pool, although he hasn’t shown any interest in taking a swim.
More than anything, Apollo wants to be close to his people. He loves snuggling on the bed but is just as happy sleeping on the floor nearby. His calm, affectionate nature makes him the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal best friend.
He’s also a dream when it comes to manners. Apollo is house-trained and does not require a crate. He knows commands like sit, down, and lay, comes when called, walks beautifully on a leash, and enjoys a ride in the car. Around the house, he’s calm and well-behaved, only barking to alert if someone is at the door or he hears an unfamiliar noise. Everyday sounds like the vacuum, music, and lawn mowers don’t bother him at all.
