Annie Juna came into rescue when her owner died. She’s is settling in to her new foster home and is looking for a loving family to help her recover and become a beloved member of a family again. Annie has a little anxiety when left alone but settles down and is not destructive. Annie gets along well with her foster sibling and does not evidence any prey instincts with squirrels or lizards. Eleven-year-old Annie does exercise her senior preferences and when she doesn’t want to walk on a leash, she will plant her paws to let you know she’s not interested. Maybe most of us agree that walking in August in Florida may not be on the top of our list of favorite things to do! With gentle encouragement, she will go for a walk and likes to walk with another dog for company.
This gal will enjoy a fenced yard to be the queen of comfort. She responds well to being groomed and being petted and given belly rubs. Annie’s foster family is working on getting her comfortable taking medications and after treatment for some minor infections, Annie will be looking for her forever family that will appreciate a gal with that special old gold personality.
Is she the sweet senior for you?
