Alec puts the “a” into awesome!
Proving that age is only a number, Alec has discovered his inner puppy thanks to the tender 
loving care of his forever fosters. Finally feasting on wholesome and nutritious food, his appetite has improved, enabling him to gain over four pounds since being welcomed into their home.
Not only is Alec aglow with newfound health, his energy level has also improved, adding to his overall happiness and lovability. Still fond of pets and tummy rubs and scratches behind his ears and on his bum, he’s even fonder of playing with stuffed toys and tearing out all of the stuffing.
Having chosen his foster mom as his “designated” person, he now faithfully follows her everywhere she goes like a luminous, four-legged golden shadow. Particularly wary of men, possibly due to his past life, Alec has been warming up to his foster dad more and more with each passing day. Hopefully, complete trust and love is just around the corner.
Purr-haps the most exciting news of all is the fact that Alec now shares his life with three feline friends. MEOW!
Meet Alec – a handsome, light honey colored golden who has found his forever home to enjoy 
the remainder of his years. Alec is now in our Sanctuary program and will be cherished and spoiled by a very special foster family.
Alec may have some grey hairs, but his energy level is that of a much younger dog. Watch Alec in action here. He still enjoys going on walks, they are his favorite. After a good walk, he will show his age by taking a long snooze to relax. He’ll also still do zoomies around the yard to show you how happy he is.
Outside of walks, he enjoys spending time with his humans, especially when he is shown affection like pets, tummy rubs, behind the ear and booty scratches, and even a sweet kiss on the forehead. He loves to play with stuffed toys and his goal is to always break through and tear out all of the stuffing. He will request to finish his toy tearing until finished!
This sweet and silly boy will get plenty of affection, playtime, and of course, stuffed animals.
