Nova’s Early Struggles

At just 8 months old, Nova faced a life-changing event when she was hit by a car, shattering her elbow and leaving bone shards in her shoulder. It was a painful and challenging time for this young pup, but her story was far from over.

A New Beginning with GRRMF

Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid-Florida (GRRMF) stepped in to provide the care Nova desperately needed. We ensured she received all necessary medical treatment, including specialists and surgeries. Her resilience shone through, and soon, she was ready for adoption. Nova found her first forever home with a loving gentleman and his cats, where they shared many happy years together.

Life’s Unexpected Turns

Tragedy struck again when Nova’s beloved owner passed away. Nova returned to GRRMF, where her story took yet another turn. Despite her hardships, Nova’s joyful spirit never wavered, and she soon found a new forever family to call her own.

Nova’s Joyful Spirit

Nova is a beauty queen who adores her spa treatments—she loves getting brushed. While being pampered, she shows her appreciation with plenty of kisses and face licks. Her foster mom shared that if you stop brushing, Nova will nudge you to keep going! Besides being a spa enthusiast, Nova is also a fan of daily walks. Just seeing the leash or hearing the word “walk” sets her fluffy tail wagging.

Nova’s Perfect Home

This happy, beautiful young lady is now thriving with her new forever family, where she is adored, walked, and definitely brushed. Nova enjoys exploring the yard, sniffing around, and watching other animals, although she doesn’t chase them. She’s a sweet girl who tolerates other dogs but is happiest in a home with people. Nova is house and crate trained and knows many commands. She’s not a true Velcro dog but does like to follow her family around the house.

Nova’s joyful spirit and affectionate nature have brought immense happiness to her new family. They cherish every moment with her, from daily walks to cozy brushing sessions, making Nova’s life as bright and joyful as her spirit!
