Thank you transport coordinator, Sue Angle, for this wonderful tribute to our GRRMF teams.
This week is National Volunteer Week –which gives us another great opportunity to THANK YOU for all you do in volunteering for Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid-Florida!
You are extraordinary volunteers who make a meaningful difference in the life of every golden you touch, and this is a week to celebrate the power you have to get them on their way to a world that will be changed forever.
And listen to this – Wikipedia says that besides the psychological, good feeling we get from doing what we do, it’s been proven there are also physical benefits, including increased satisfaction, improved sense of belonging, lower blood pressure, increased protection from Alzheimer’s, and decreased mortality! So we’ll keep up the good work we do – sounds like it’s good for us as well as our goldens!
We know the most rewarding thanks you get is from the look in the golden’s eye, the wag of its tail, and the wet-nose kiss it plants on your cheek. At that moment, you are the most important thing in that golden’s life.
Where would our goldens be without our special humans who love them so much. Our rescue would not be possible without you.
Have a great National Volunteer Week – – –
WE THANK YOU for all you do!!!
