Meet Tweed
Surrendered when his owner moved and could no longer care for his needs, 7 year old Tweed was 
neutered and settled into his foster home with ease for this boy with a history of high stress. Then, unexpectedly, this sweet boy tanked. Rushed to our emergency care vet, with significantly elevated sodium levels, fever, and vomiting many prayers were said for his recovery. Thankfully Tweed responded very well to fluids and supportive care and was able to return to his foster home within the week. Special care needed for a special boy whose happily ever after story continued with his adoption to his wonderful forever family in August. Another way your donations help….to fund expensive but priceless emergency critical care services when they are needed.
