GRRMF set up a booth at the 7th Annual Woof, Wag & Wiggle Event (formerly Boxer Bash), on Saturday, 11/12/16, at the Wickham Park Main Pavilion in Melbourne. Our friends from Coastal Boxer Rescue of Florida put on a great fundraising event for their rescue. There were food trucks, music, games, prizes, vendors and loads of great items on the raffle tables and even more fabulous items available on the silent auction tables.
The weather was great which made it a beautiful day and lots of dogs in all shapes, sizes, colors and ages joined the festivities! There were even quite a few adoptable cats joining the many dogs looking for their forever homes.
At the GRRMF table, we sold GRRMF merchandise; other miscellaneous items; and happily accepted donations. We also sold lots of raffle tickets to win $50 Worth of Florida Lottery Scratch-off Tickets which will be drawn at the Pet Photos with Santa event this coming Saturday, 11/19/16, at Pet Supermarket in Melbourne.
Special thanks to Becky S., Janet T. and Karin K. for helping all day long. From unloading, setting up and then tearing down and loading again, events like this wouldn’t be so easy or as fun without your help. We are so glad both of you ladies won a raffle prize or a couple of silent auction items. With all the people in attendance, you were very lucky and deserving of a win, too!
Thanks to Ginger V. for dropping by earlier in the day and noticing how much fun we were having, drove back home and came back with gorgeous “Rocky” and “Bailey”, Miss April in the 2017 GRRMF Calendar! They knew how to work the crowd and brought in loads of people craving golden hugs.
