When something special happens!

When something special happens!

From Russ Crowder, on a visit to Limitless Adventures:    I’m proud of my teams and all that they do.

Wendy & Duke joined us at our most recent Gainesville screening.    All of the camp kids are on the autism spectrum; Kim, the summer camp coordinator, has many years of experience in this area.  We visit every Monday. When I got a note like this from Kim, I had to share.

Duke of Hearts of Gold, in the middle of all the children sitting around him.Unfortunately there was one photo that was not sent – a young non-verbal boy (10-12 y/o) who was strapped into a motorized wheelchair with a large tray across his lap.  You should have seen the look on his face, the enormous smile, when he first touched Duke.  It honestly brought tears to the eyes of all camp counselors present, and to the eyes of Wendy and yours truly.

Thank you for getting me involved in this animal assisted interaction.
