Hearts of Gold – Goldens + Children = PURE JOY
Math can be very simple. Any time you add goldens and children together the final equation is always the same –
PURE JOY. Our Hearts of Gold therapy teams were excited to support the “Kid’s Program” at the 2022 National Juvenile Arthritis Foundation held in Orlando. Our special pups shared their books and trading cards with pre-K through high school children. Dear Ginger and Hearts of Gold Therapy Team:
On behalf of the 2022 Juvenile Arthritis (JA) Conference Planning Committee and nearly 400 participants, thank you so much for your contribution to the event. The Teams were a HUGE hit and a highlight for many of the kids and teens – 90% of the kids reported on the evaluation that they “loved” the therapy dogs and many said it was their favorite part of the conference. Also, the dogs were so popular and comforting this year that many parents requested their own therapy dog sessions in future years!
It was tough to come back in-person after a nearly 3-year hiatus due to the pandemic; we appreciate you and the teams helping us bring the beloved conference back to families impacted by juvenile arthritis and the many related rheumatic diseases. The Teams brought so much joy and comfort to the kids and teens who were anxious to be back in-person with their new and old friends.
